Meet the Director
With over 20 years in the construction industry, John has worked across every corner of the trade — from hands-on site work early in his career to managing complex residential and commercial projects across London and Kent.
I started Nora Design and Build because I wanted to do things properly. No shortcuts, no excuses — just quality work delivered on time.
John began his career as a site labourer straight from school, learning the trade from the ground up. He went on to earn a Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery — a qualification that gave him a deep technical grounding in the craft. Over two decades he progressed through project management and eventually set up Nora Design and Build to bring a more personal, quality-focused approach to design and build.
Today John oversees every project personally — from the initial site survey through to the final snagging list. His hands-on approach means clients always have a direct line to the person responsible for their build.
